The MasterPiece Arms DS9 Hybrid Black & Gold is a wide-body, double-stack 1911 pistol chambered in 9mm, engineered for seamless operation with either iron sights or reflex optics, now featuring striking gold accents on key components like the ambi-safety, slide stop, beavertail, guide rod, hammer, mag release, grip screws, trigger shoe, and magwell against a black slide and frame. Hand-built, fitted, and tuned for peak performance, this pistol delivers incredible accuracy and reliability, backed by a lifetime warranty. Its optics-ready configuration includes an RMR optics plate for quick red dot mounting, without a rear sight filler plate, ensuring versatility for competitive or practical use.

The DS9 Hybrid incorporates a hand-lapped frame-to-slide fit for smooth cycling, an anodized aluminum grip in standard or aggressive texture for enhanced control, and a full-length light rail on both frame and slide, all machined from billet for superior strength without forgings. The patented Accuracy X Multi Sight Modular Sight System allows effortless transitions between slide-mounted optics and iron sights in minutes, while all parts are precision-machined in the USA from barstock and billet, eliminating MIM, castings, or forgings. With a Koenig hammer, sear, and disconnector, plus Wolff recoil and mainspring alongside an EGW sear spring, it achieves a crisp 2.5 lb trigger pull for precise shot placement.
